The family and friends of missing Dee Ann Warner have a rally scheduled for Sunday, November 26, 2023, at 2:00 PM in front of Lenawee County Courthouse. Dee vanished hours after she planned to tell her husband, Dale Warner, she wanted a divorce and to sell their various businesses. She was reported missing the next day, April 25, 2021.

The objective of the rally is to raise awareness about the circumstances surrounding Dee’s disappearance and urge authorities to hold the person or persons responsible accountable. Those close to Dee are convinced she did not leave willingly. In fact, they believe she is no longer alive.

Billy Little, Jr., a nationally recognized investigative attorney, confirmed this morning he will be a guest speaker at the event. Mr. Little began working on Dee’s case pro bono in March 2022, putting in 16-hour days. He conducted drone searches, used cadaver dogs, interviewed over 100 people, and analyzed a mountain of financial records and documents. He has turned over all his evidence to authorities and believes there is ample proof to arrest Dale Warner for murder.

In March 2022, Little joined the task force formed to solve Dee’s case. It consisted of Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office, Michigan State Police, and the FBI. Dee’s nephew, Parker Hardy, told me, “Having Billy on the case has been a godsend. He is amazing.”

On April 23, 2022, Little spoke at the candlelight vigil Dee’s family held near the first anniversary of her disappearance. “Today is the day to honor Dee and it’s about the family and children missing their mother who is never coming back,” Little said. After introducing Dee’s four adult children, Little said, “I truly love this family. Justice is coming. Trust me.”

In a press conference in May 2022, Little said, “We know what happened. We know who did it.”

On Mother’s Day in 2022, Little was on Chris McDonough’s true crime podcast, The Interview Room. Little revealed some of the evidence he had collected. On the evening Dee planned to tell Dale she wanted a divorce, she arranged for a family friend to take their minor daughter overnight to avoid what was bound to be a heated argument. According to Little, Dale said they argued but it ended with him giving her a massage on the living room floor. When she fell asleep, Dale lifted her to the couch and went to bed. At six in the morning, Dale left to work on their farm and saw Dee still on the couch, snoring.

When Dee’s adult daughter and her family arrived for their usual Sunday breakfast around 9 AM, Dee was nowhere to be found. Her vehicles were still on the property and security cameras did not show her leaving. Calls to her phone went unanswered.

Dale and Dee were married in 2006 and at the time of her disappearance, their daughter was nine years old. They had several businesses, including a farm, and Dee owned a trucking business. Witnesses told Little their relationship was volatile and there were instances of domestic violence, although no police reports were filed.

Little disclosed Dale had a history of stalking Dee. When she took her vehicle in to get serviced, a tracking device was found. Witnesses told Little that Dale had been caught peering around corners to watch Dee and that Dale used his iPad to record Dee’s conversations.

After Dee vanished, Dale claimed to have found her $50,000 diamond wedding ring on his desk. He told authorities he believed she ran off to Jamaica or Mexico. Little’s evidence does not support that claim.

Little also revealed Dale lost his fingerprints after Dee’s disappearance and Dale claimed it must have been from using fertilizer.

In a June 2022 episode of The Interview Room, Little refuted Dale’s claim to have been home from the evening of April 24, 2021 until he left for work at 6 AM April 25, 2021. Little has a witness that puts Dale at his father’s house at 3:55 AM.

While Little continued to collect evidence, authorities did not take action. “There’s no sense of urgency and it’s frustrating to me to see this because I care about this country. I care about justice. I care about fairness, and I care about this family,” Little said.

In July 2022, Little exposed the lead detective on Dee’s case from Lenawee County Sheriff's Office was dating the cousin of an employee of Dale and Dee.

In August 2022, Little was a guest speaker at the first Justice for Dee rally in front of the Lenawee County Courthouse urging Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office to turn Dee’s case over to Michigan State Police. That day, Sheriff Brevier announced he was officially turning the case over.

In October 2022, Little vented his frustration that there still had not been an arrest. “The evidence is overwhelming,” he said. “Evil wins when good people do nothing.”

Little also exposed Dale sold Dee’s trucking business after her disappearance using forged documents and fraudulently used Dee’s electronic signature to get a 1.4-million-dollar small business loan from the federal government.

In November 2022, Little urged the community not to lose hope. “I’m not going anywhere and if you think I didn’t have a long-range plan, you don’t know me very well. I’ve had a long-range plan from early on in this case,” Little said. “I always have a backup plan, and that backup plan doesn’t include quitting.”

In March 2023, Little told me, “I’m never going anywhere. I knew this was going to be a marathon and prepared for it,” Little said. “You don’t see my face on the news unless I need to turn the heat up and get people to do their jobs. Ninety-nine percent of the work I do is behind the scenes, and I like it that way.”

Dee’s been gone two and a half years and while the lead detective, Sgt. Det. Drewyor testified he believes Dee was murdered and Dale is the prime suspect, there has been no arrest. It seems Billy Little, Jr. is ready to turn up the heat once again at the Justice for Dee rally November 26th at 2 PM.

Little said to me this morning, “I told you I wasn’t leaving.”

He is a man of his word.
